ADAM KIPPLE

President & CEO

Adam Kipple, President and Managing Member of Magnolia Hospitality Services, brings with him a diverse hospitality background spanning over 20 years of industry experience. Specializing in both the operations and sales branches of the business, his role is indispensable in the development of partner relations, hotel investment strategy, asset management oversight, and the acquisition of new management contracts.

Offering extensive experience from 13 different brands under Marriott, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and Choice Hotels, Adam’s background within maintenance, housekeeping, sales and operations has proven instrumental in the ability to positively impact various aspects central to industry success.


As a seasoned hotelier, Adam’s experience and leadership have paved the way for a successful portfolio. His previous efforts have earned his prior locations several awards including Marriott’s Gold Circle Award, Select Service Hotel of the Year Award, as well as a Zero Degrees of Sales Separation Award, the latter of which is awarded for attaining underperforming assets and exceeding owner and brand expectations
on revenue targets.


With an intensive and purposeful approach, Adam has opened both full-service and select-service hotel locations that launched with premium results and flawless executions, and expects to do the same for current operations and efforts.

Christie veyna

VP of Sales 

As VP of Sales and Managing Member, Christie Veyna is the spearhead of the sales leadership of Magnolia Hospitality Services and pivotal in leading the sales efforts and development of its locations. With industry experience spanning more than 20 years and inclusive of diverse
markets and segments, Christie’s background in industry-specific areas includes limited service, extended stay, and full service hotels. Her experience comprises of various top hotel brands including Marriott, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Choice Hotels, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and Best Western. Prior to co-founding Magnolia Hospitality Services with fellow Managing Member, Adam Kipple, Christie held the position of Regional Director of Sales within IHG.

In her present role, not only does her wealth of expertise provide crucial sales support and leadership to hotel development teams through various phases, it also offers a focused, hands- on approach to increase topline revenue for all hotel locations. Using her extensive sales experience, Christie continues to support the hotel portfolio by collaborating with hotel sales teams to implement strategic processes to achieve market share that renders the best return of investment for the management group’s owners.

 

Many people have influenced her success; she now finds it rewarding to give back and inspire others. Just as with the passion instilled in her professional life, Christie incorporates her passion in her personal life to the community by supporting Special Olympics Texas and the
CARE Communities in Austin.

DAniel GOMEZ

Regional Vice President of Operations

Daniel Gomez, Regional Director of Operations, joins the Magnolia Team with a vast leadership background spanning over 20 years of hospitality management experience. Daniel has served in various progressive roles since the beginning of his career, including City Director of Sales in the San Antonio market, International Intern Liaison for an international internship program, and General Manager for several properties and markets in San Antonio, Austin, Grand Junction, Colorado, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Houston, and lastly, South Padre Island’s Rio Grand Valley. Resolutely established as a high performer, Daniel’s career excellence is reflected in his noteworthy awards and accolades – among these are the Residence Inn MVP Award, the first recipient of the Sales Zero Degrees of Separation Award, and President’s Award for three consecutive years during his time with White Lodging. 

 

More recently, Daniel has served as Director of Operations with MKM Lodging Services, where he was responsible for a portfolio comprised of Marriott International, IHG, Choice Hotels, and independently branded properties. His leadership in operations, owner relations, revenue management, sales, marketing, and e-commerce resulted in noticeably positive results and upward trend. He is also responsible for executive leadership selection as well as strategic and capital planning at property and regional level.

 

In his current role as Regional Director of Operations, Daniel offers core support training and presence to better prepare, equip and coach hotels in the areas of Quality Audit preparedness, team development, talent / team recruitment, and general operational procedures. Daniel currently works with the MHS Executive Teams within the portfolio to ensure maximum results in quality assurance, internal compliance, and overall operational excellence.

 

In his spare time, Daniel volunteers his time with the Business Careers High School Magnet School at Holmes High School in San Antonio; this focuses on mentorship to students that aspire to join the hospitality industry, while also allowing him the opportunity to give back to his alma mater.

OSCAR SANCHEZ

Executive VP of Development

     I began my hospitality career with company managed hotels (CMH) within Holiday Inns, Inc. now InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). I am the recipient of expert coaching and excellent industry insight from numerous highly skilled and knowledgeable industry leaders from within IHG. Areas of expertise include budgeting and finance, revenue management, physical plant inspections/operations including risk management and life/safety compliance, sales & marketing, and human resources. My hotel skills were sharpened primary int the Austin and San Antonio, TX markets.

     My operation insight received through IHG CMH led me to a corporate capacity with IHG Hotel Performance Support (HPS) - Area Manager. My primary objective was to consult with franchise owners by frequent property visits, facilitate regional training workshop events in all topics of brand revenue, service, and quality, and assisted in the opening of new hotels. I was assigned the South Texas Region of the IHG mid-scale segment, mostly Holiday Inns Hotel, Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites, Holiday Inn Sunspree Resorts, Holiday Inn Select, and toward the end of my tenure, Hotel Indigo. Other responsibilities included the training and implementation of selected brand property management systems (Hotel Management System [HMS] and Micros Opera), migrating properties to a new CRS and yield management system. After IHG, I've had a successful run as Regional VP of Operations for K Partners Hospitality USA, Terrapin Hospitality, and Aimbridge Hospitality. In each of these roles, my responsibility oversaw on average portfolio size of 10-14 hotels made up of Hilton, IHG, Marriott, and Wyndham properties.

     On the educational and social scene, I attended the University of Texas - Austin and Our Lady of the Lake University - San Antonio. I am an alumnus of Phi Kappa Theta (PKT) National Fraternity and actively participate as a Charter Member of Phi Kappa Theta Alamo Alumni Association based in San Antonio, Texas. Currently our fundraising efforts work toward the delivery of university scholarships to deserving undergraduate Brother Members at the University of Texas - Austin and University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley Edinburg through the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity Foundation.

Tona allen

Regional Director of Sales

Tona Allen stands as a paradigm of leadership and strategic vision in her role as Regional Director of Sales for Magnolia. With a laser focus on maximizing hotel revenue and guest satisfaction, she deftly oversees the sales activities and staff across multiple hotels. Her deep industry acumen shines through in her development and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies and in her meticulous monitoring of sales performance against market trends. With a passion for nurturing relationships with key clients and partners, Tona’s expertise in negotiation and sales budget management consistently drives Magnolia's growth and market presence.

Before her tenure at Magnolia, Tona honed her skills in territory and account management, becoming known for her consultative approach and compelling leadership that fosters robust network connections. As an Area Director of Sales at Pathfinder Hospitality, she was instrumental in elevating Marriott and IHG branded hotels in the Austin and Houston areas. Under her guidance, sales teams flourished, reaching and surpassing targets through Tona's effective training and keen analysis of key performance indicators. Her proactive strategy in identifying and cultivating new business partnerships resulted in significant pipeline growth.

Tona's track record of success is built on a solid foundation of experience, including her impactful roles at Pathfinder Development and Vista Host Hotel Management. Whether it was achieving 110% of sales targets or boosting sales by 150%, Tona's innovative approaches to sales and marketing have left an indelible mark on the industry. Her ability to engage with clients through in-depth presentations and to maintain active, fruitful contacts has not only expanded her territories but also solidified her reputation as a seasoned expert in the Group Business Segment. Tona's dynamic career, marked by continuous learning and adaptation, exemplifies her commitment to excellence in the ever-evolving world of hospitality sales.
